Dr. Dan Buie has aged out of being able to practice safely. He cannot see well enough to be able to place a speculum in a vagina without touching the woman's clitoris (twice) and he requires lighting to be so close that I was afraid to move in case it would burn me. It melted the lubricant that came off the speculum. He told me how risky iron iv infusions are and prescribed iron injections without any explanation of risk. I asked the pharmacist if they could do the injections because I didn't want to go back to him and they said they couldn't which didn't make sense as they do flu and other injections. There was a warning on the bottle when I got it. I looked it up and BC Heath does not recommend iron intramuscular injections due to risk of anaphylactic shock because absorption is unpredictable. His notes are a mess and he counts on his MOA to keep him on track. He cannot remember answers to questions he asks 5-10 minutes later and asks again. He didn't do a referral that was called for and his notes on this issue didn't match what he had told me was the problem. What he told me was wrong. His MOA makes clinical note entries but she is not a nurse, she is a MOA which is not governed by Health Professions Act and although she may aspire to be a medical professional some day, she is an administration staff and should not be making clinical notes in patients' files. She also "interpreted" his notes when questioned about notes made prior to her being his MOA which was done in his defense.
