Diplômé au doctorat de premier cycle en chiropratique de l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) en 2018, l’année suivante il rejoint Dre Martine Bureau, chiropraticienne à la clinique de l’ATM. Au cours de ses 5 années d’études, il s’implique au Laboratoire d’anatomie de l’UQTR en tant qu’assistant professeur où il oriente et répond aux questions des étudiants durant leur cours de dissection. Cela lui permet de développer ses capacités à expliquer et vulgariser différents problèmes de santé. Il agit comme interne soigneur des équipes de volley-ball de l’école secondaire Chavigny à Trois-Rivières afin de répondre aux besoins des athlètes subissant des blessures sportives. Il participe en 2017 à une mission humanitaire en Bolivie afin d’offrir des soins à la population locale. Cette expérience enrichissante l’amène à développer son aptitude naturelle à communiquer avec les patients de tous les milieux. Il s’intéresse aux multiples présentations cliniques de l’articulation temporo-mandibulaire (ATM) ainsi qu’aux incapacités qu’elle peut entrainer. Cette articulation avec une anatomie particulière demande une minutie et une énorme compréhension de son fonctionnement. C’est d’ailleurs l’importance d’un bon diagnostic initial qui prime à la clinique de l’ATM. Il est formé par Dre Martine Bureau et prend en charge les nombreux cas d’ATM qu’elle lui dirige. Des rencontres régulières et des discussions de cas permettent le transfert rigoureux des connaissances en assurant la standardisation des diagnostics et des traitements. Dr Côté est particulièrement apprécié par ses patients pour son approche humaine, son écoute, la clarté de ses explications et son professionnalisme.
