Dre Chelsea Delorme, chiropractor D.C. | Chiropractor Hull Aylmer Dr. Chelsea Delorme developed a passion for movement and the human body at a young age as a competitive dancer and later as a dance educator and choreographer. She was intrigued by proper training and movement in order to build strength, mobility, and control. During this time, she became more acutely aware of all the benefits of movement, exercise and physical activity, as well as of the negative consequences of injuries that could be caused by certain repetitive or improper movements. As a dance educator, she has always focused on prevention through specific and appropriate conditioning to prepare the body for each new challenge and to avoid future injury. These interests brought her to the University of Ottawa and Carleton University where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours, and psychology degree. Following this, she was admitted to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where she studied anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, orthopedics, diagnostics and radiology. After 4 years of study, she received her doctorate in chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Delorme is dedicated to the health and well-being of her patients. She uses evidence-informed chiropractic care to help patients minimize pain, maximize function, and prevent injuries, addressing the cause of dysfunction . If you have an injury, increased pain or difficulty moving, Dr. Delorme is here to help. She has experience in acute and chronic conditions such as neck and back pain, herniated discs, sciatic problems, rib problems, headaches, whiplash, tendonitis and repetitive microtraumas, frozen shoulder, sprains and strains, knee and hip pain, foot problems, pregnancy related musculoskeletal pain, and nerve compression conditions. Dr. Delorme will work with you to find the cause of your problem by providing professional, caring and effective treatment to address your concerns. In her treatments, she uses a variety of techniques, with a particular focus on manual adjustments and mobilizations of the spine and extremities, muscle release techniques (MRT), instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and progressive rehabilitation exercises (stretching, strengthening, etc.). Dre. Delorme will work with you to find the cause of your problem. She offers you patient- centered, evidence-informed care that aims to help you reach your goals and get back to the life you love. She is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Quebec Chiropractic Association, and she is registered with the Quebec Order of Chiropractors. When Dr. Delorme is not at the clinic, she likes to stay active by training, and maintaining a yoga practice. She also enjoys teaching community movement and training classes.
