After completing her dental degree she went on to work as an associate dentist in a number of communities including Toronto, Aurora, North York, Brampton and Maple. Since she grew up in the Vaughan area, Dr Gordon decided to establish her career in Maple, Vaughan as the owner of Maple Dental Health.
