I went to Mackenzie Health Urgent Care and I was super impressed with nurses and support staff. I knew what my acute condition was and I knew what I needed the doctor to prescribe. I was glad he came to the same conclusion as I did, however, I found him very terse. He asked me questions and barely let me answer. Some of the questions he asked me had me a little concerned if he was going to misdiagnose me-he was going in the wrong direction. Like I said, I’m happy I got what I needed and the front desk and nurse who triaged me was so kind, but this guy comes off as rude and dismissive. I didn’t have a good experience. He should consider that people come to urgent care feeling lousy so he might want to change up his bedside manner. Just be polite. Not a lot to ask.

Dr Brian Tataryn should be removed from the Urgent Care Clinic on Jane Street. In fact, perhaps removed from practicing medicine. I took my elderly brother there on Tuesday, August 22m 2023 with severe pain and swelling on his butt. Without examining him Dr Tataryn sent him away and told him he had Sciatica and he should take take over the counter pain killers and book therapy with the hospital. Things got increasingly worst, excruciating pain all day until we went to the emergency at the hospital. In the first couple of sentences they determined this was not sciatica but an abscess. This could have been fatal for my brother because he is a heart patient with a replacement valve. He has to be extremely careful with infections, he even has to take antibiotics before even going to the dentist. Dr. Brian Tataryn should not be able to practice medicine. He is a danger to patients.

Instead of clicking on the 1 star is there any way I can shade in a quarter of a star for this individual. That’s how this “dr” turned out to be. Walked into the urgent clinic at 9401 Jane St, Vaughan, Ontario this past Saturday Feb 18. As they placed me from the waiting room to the examination room, this guy kept bypassing me and attending to other patients that arrived after I registered at the front desk. The worst was the fact that this guy only gave me antibiotics for sinusitis and no corticosteroids for the swelling which impedes me to breathe properly throughout the day never mind sleeping at night. To make matters worst corticosteroids can only be prescribed by a Physician. Brian Tataryn should not be practicing medicine.

He said I didn’t have pneumonia and lungs are clear plus said he couldn’t see any blood or hole in my ear. I said I still need the ear drops which he gave but nothing for lungs, I catch on first day it turns to pneumonia as I get light headed that only happens with pneumonia, YET after telling me they were clear and perfect and with a witness the MYCHART sent me email saying file updated . It seems that final impression from him was possible lower left pneumonia follow up with family dr I said she is 2.5 hours away and isn’t taking patients except well baby check ups ….in a November I went to hospital with abcess inside my throat I couldn’t see Jt they said if I went a few days earlier they may have been able to stop it with antibiotics. Yet when I do go earlier this is what happens I am dismissed . I only have a ride on sat and Sunday after work so I am screwed cause of him

This guy is horrible, couldn't give me a requisition or referral or solve my problem. Told me to contact my family doc after I told him she's out of office for 2+ weeks.

Ignoramus...step away and remain behind a desk...do not interact with people. Dr. Brian Tataryn def should retire because he is "not" an asset to healthcare...avoid him...request another physician.

Irrespective to his long term position, having the ability to enact basic skills, such as actualy reading the paperwork provided on patient in front of him the ability to actually listen and hear the human in front of him, among other more incitefull general studies in virology would as well be productive. When you're the only Dr attending in a full room at urgent care...ensuring your prepared to ask questions and listen and think out of the box is vital thought processing. If you're unfamiliar or have never heard of an occurrence/scenario you can be assured that does not mean it is not plausible. I'm a firm believer that all human Dr's should have to enroll and apply themselves in the field of Veteranian medicine for several years, prior to human practices.

Great Physician. Took his time despite being the only physician on. Was very impressed by his knowledge base and his handling of children.
