She was born and raised in Grimsby and holds a Bachelor of Honours in Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario, which she obtained in 2012. Later, in 2017, she completed her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Zaruk's personal experience with competitive Irish Dancing and various athletic injuries gave her firsthand insight into the benefits of chiropractic care for recovery and performance.
