MiltonBackDoc is a team of highly trained healthcare providers working together to help patients recover from injury and learn how to improve their function and performance, while preventing future recurrences.
Dr. Kuehnel has been working with patients in Milton since 2008, offering in office and in home services, establishing MiltonBackDoc at it’s original Main St Location in 2013. Dr. Stone joined MiltonBackDoc in 2014, and Julianne and Melissa joined the team in 2016. In January 2017, the practice grew enough to move to a new and larger space at 345 Steeles Avenue. Since the move, we have added two more Massage Therapists - Jason Verbruggen and Katrina McDowall. In August of 2018 we added a third Chiropractor - Dr. Lewis, and in October of 2018 we added our Acupuncturist, Meg Rector. When Covid hit in 2020, Dr. Kuehnel had just taken a break from practice for a medical leave. Dr. Paul Prsala joined the practice at this time. Dr. Lewis opted not to return to the practice and was replaced by Dr. Khushboo Vora in late 2020. Dr. Stone moved on in late 2020. As we found our footing once again in our new post-Covid world, Sheri Medina joined the team in 2021 to provide osteopathic manual therapy.
Our commitment to patients is to provide high quality, evidence informed care, in a welcoming atmosphere with exceptional customer service. Patients are free to choose their provider based on a preference of styles, availability of appointments, or they can choose to see a combination of providers to find the best fit possible. All involved providers will discuss your care and progress to ensure good continuity between visits and that you are able to adhere to the treatment plan as prescribed. Many of our patients find this team approach not only convenient, as it makes fitting appointments into a busy schedule far easier, but they also appreciate the benefit of having the input of two or three skilled professionals, instead of just one.
Our office offers complimentary consultations, of approximately 15 minutes in duration, to allow patients to meet a provider, give some preliminary information, and get an informed opinion as to which course of care is likely to benefit them the most. We hope you’ll take the time to ask us your questions, and we can assure you, we’ll always do our best to provide clear and concise recommendations.
