Duration: 1:39 Agar aap diabetes se peedit hain toh aapne shayad yeh dekha hoga ki khaane ke kuch padarth aapke blood ke sugar to zyaada badhaate hain. Udaaharan ke taur par aapne dekha hoga ki maide ki roti se sugar kaafi high ho jaati hain jab ki jow ki roti se sugar itni zyaada nahi badhti hain. Iski vajah hain Glycemic index. Glycemic index yaani ki har khaane mein sugar kis maatra mein maujood hoti hain. Yeh jaanna bahut zaroori hain taaki aap apne khaane ko theek tarah se chun sake. White bread ya phir aalu se sugar turant badh sakta hain kyunki inn cheezo ki Glycemic index bahut high hoti hain. High glycemic index foods mein corn flakes/ cheerios, fruits mein khajoor, banana aur tarbooz, vegetables mein aalu aur fozen corn, white rice, bread maujood hote hain. Low glycemic index foods mein oatmeal, bran, apple, berries, peach, dal, cabbage, baingan, tamatar, palak, brown rice, nuts, skim milk aur andey maujood hote hain. Isiliye jab aap khaana chunte hain, aap white rice ki jagah brown rice ka upyog karein, fruit mein aap apples ya blueberries chunein aur banana ya phir watermelon/ tarbooz ka upyog kam karein. Agar aap ko glycemic index ke barein mein zyaada jaan na ho toh apne local dietitian se sampark karein.
