Low back pain from golf can come from a different û a number of different sources. Most typically you would want to mobilize the stiff segments of the back, and you wanna stabilize and strengthen the core stabilizers that prevent that sheer force from happening from that rotational swing.

To stretch and mobilize the low back, there are different stretches you can do. A common one is a knees to chest sort of stretch, having one knee up and the other knee down. You can go into different poses like a child's pose in yoga or a leg crossover stretch to help mobilize that low back.

Some core strengthening exercises that can be done are real basic core contractions. What a lot of people don't realize is that there's two layers of your abdominal muscles, an inner layer and an outer layer.

The real core stability is that inner layer, which you wanna û that attaches to the lower back and keeps that low back stable. If you have more questions or more inquiries about low back pain in golf, I recommend you contact your local physiotherapist or sports med doctor.

If you have any questions about lower back treatment, contact a local physiotherapist.
