Dr. Stephanie Bonn, BSc, BPHE, DC Dr. Stephanie Bonn was introduced to chiropractic following a back injury while rowing on the Varsity Lightweight Women’s Crew for Queen’s University where she was studying for dual degrees in Lifesciences and Kinesiology. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and was certified in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She completed a thesis on prenatal fitness and was a certified personal trainer, spinning and aerobics instructor throughout her studies. She is presently studying for her Masters of Chiropractic Pediatrics to teach other chiropractors family care. From newborn to adulthood, Dr. Stephanie uses chiropractic techniques specific to the individual for the health of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. She helps families have healthy pregnancies, births and postpartum care. As a mother of four, she supports attachment-parenting, breastfeeding, co-sleeping and babywearing. With wellness visits, Infants and children are assisted through their growth and developmental milestones. Dr. Stephanie has an integrative approach, incorporating exercise, nutritional & supplement prescription and ergonomic recommendations for optimal health whether they suffer from pain, have a colicky baby or just want a postural assessment. She is active in the community presenting seminars and writing articles on perinatal care, athletic support and ergonomic assessments. She supports female entrepreneurs as a mentor for the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs, is a board and committee member of the Yaletown Business Improvement Association and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice Gift of Time. In her spare time, Dr. Stephanie enjoys running, yoga, spinning, surfing, snowboarding and hiking in our beautiful BC.
