Originally from Ukraine, he has a dual North American and European training in Dermatology that allows him to bring this unique expertise and experience to the care of his patients. Dr. Maksym Breslavets completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Toronto. As a board-certified Dermatology Specialist, he has extensive training in medical and surgical dermatology and his knowledge and expertise are certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is an active and in good standing Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as well the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Maksym Breslavets graduated and obtained his MD Degree from the Donetsk National Medical University (Ukraine) and completed postgraduate training in Dermatology there as well. Subsequently, he received the PhD degree at the Institute of Dermatology and Venereology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. His research interest involved assessment of biomechanical properties and image processing of the skin. Besides dedication to clinical dermatology, Dr. Maksym Breslavets is passionate about science and research as well and he is the founder of the Skin e-Lab.
