Gemma graduated with her Bachelor’s in Human Kinetics from UBC Okanagan in 2020. She worked as a kinesiologist for a year, completing further training in osteoporosis, receiving her BONEfit certification. Gemma has worked with a wide range of patients needing care for pre and post total hip and knee replacements, osteoporosis, and ICBC injuries. She recently graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Masters in Physiotherapy. During her time in the UK Gemma undertook pitch-side medic and sports physiotherapy training at Oxford Quins RFC, in addition to attaining her Sports Massage certificate. On her days off, Gemma enjoys riding her horse in the Okanagan backcountry with her dog.
