Dr. Tori Thomas is a chiropractor who was born and raised in Abbotsford. She has a strong educational background in the field of sports medicine and a passion for working with patients of all ages, including athletes. Dr. Thomas completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley while also actively participating in the university's women's soccer team. In 2017, she made the move to Portland, Oregon to pursue her chiropractic studies at the University of Western States. She excelled in her studies and graduated with honors, earning her Doctor of Chiropractic and Masters in Sports Medicine in 2019. Throughout her clinical experience, Dr. Thomas has had the opportunity to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions in patients of all age groups, from newborns to the elderly. Being an athlete herself, she has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and goals that athletes face. Dr. Thomas is dedicated to using an evidence-based approach to provide patient-centered care and education, ensuring that her patients receive the best possible treatment and guidance. Dr. Thomas is a certified Active Release Technique (ART) provider, showcasing her expertise in manual therapy. She remains committed to staying up-to-date with advancements in the field and actively engages in continuing education to further enhance her skills. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time outdoors. She can often be found hiking or running with her partner Jordan and their dog Scout. Additionally, Portland holds a special place in their hearts as their favorite city and second home.
