Dr. Tamara McDonald, originally from Calgary, has always been passionate about maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. After completing her studies at the University of Alberta, she recognized that chiropractic was the perfect avenue for her to pursue a career in promoting health and wellness. In June 2014, she obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. McDonald has also pursued additional certifications in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Active Release Techniques, and Graston Techniques, further expanding her expertise. In her personal time, Dr. McDonald cherishes moments with her husband, daughter, and dog. She remains active through various activities such as yoga, cycling, and strength training. Driven by her passion for health and wellness, she has acquired certifications in personal training and fitness instruction. She has also taught spin classes at YYC Cycle and yoga classes at Centered on Centre. Additionally, she dedicated her time to teaching a senior's fitness class twice a week at the Salvation Army Meighen Retirement Residence while residing in Toronto. Committed to the well-being of her community, Dr. McDonald strives to promote wellness and independent living through an evidence-based and research-driven approach. She values staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in her field to provide the best possible care to her patients.
