Dr. Susan Waserman Bio
Dr. Susan Waserman obtained her MSc and medical degree from McGill University. She specialized in Internal Medicine, followed by subspecialty training in Allergy/Clinical Immunology, completing fellowships at the Meakins Christie Laboratories at McGill University in Montreal, and at McMaster University.
She is a past President of the Canadian and Ontario Societies of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and President of the Canadian Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Foundation. Her activities include continuing medical education for physicians, allied health professionals and the community, as well as developing practice guidelines in areas such as anaphylaxis, hereditary angioedema, urticaria and immunotherapy.
Her research interests and activities include clinical trials in a variety of therapeutic areas related to allergy, including rhinitis, asthma, as well as determinants of allergic reativity in peanut allergy.
