Dr. Richard Sioufi , Oncologist, Châteauguay completed his medical degree with high honors from McGill University in 1992. He then specialized in urology at McGill, graduating in 1997. Dr. Sioufi then spent four years in Tampa, Florida practicing general urology with a special interest in endo-urology, female urology, and prostate cancer. In 2001 he was recruited to the “Service d’urologie & centre de la prostate” located in both the south shore of Montreal and the downtown region. In 2014, Dr. Richard Sioufi , Oncologist, Châteauguay received training in the early diagnosis of prostate cancer utilizing a special, state of the art MRI/ultra-sound fusion biopsy of the prostate. Dr. Richard Sioufi , Oncologist, Châteauguay was the first in Quebec to do these highly specialized biopsies with over 24 years of experience in prostate biopsies. Dr. Richard Sioufi , Oncologist, Châteauguay has received numerous awards and honors, with multiple publications to his name. His interest is in early diagnosis and treatment in prostate cancer and bladder cancer, also has special interest in female incontinence, renal stones and does several office based procedures.
