Dr. Lim is a family practitioner and Medical Director of MetroHealth Clinic, which he founded in 1989. The Clinic provides urgent as well as Family Practice medical services to the Metro Vancouver area and there are over 70,000 registered Patients in the Clinic. In 1993, Dr. Lim was invited to become a Designated Medical Practitioner for Health Canada and in the year 2000, he was asked to join the Medical Panel for Immigration for Australia. Dr. Lim has been a consultant for the entertainment industry since 1987. Dr. Lim feels very privileged to be a physician. “This is an amazing time to be a Doctor. Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Lim conducted research in the area of lecithin (Phosphatidylcholine) biosynthesis in hypercholesterolemic states. He completed his Doctorate in Biochemistry in 1981 and graduated from UBC Medical School in 1984. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry (Honours, UBC) in 1976.
