He is the worst doctor my mom has ever had during her entire medical journey. He has had an aggressive behavior toward us (most probably because of our skin color because he personally asked me are you sure you are her daughter and I answered him firmly I am proud I am her daughter although I am not black because of genetics). Beside that he is not competent at all, all kind of complications have happened with my mom after the intervention he performed, he also prescribed the wrong medication for her heart rate… In conclusion, take care if you were obliged to see him because it won’t be safe medically or socially.

Dr.Angaran, his resident Dr. Pendrtih and the worlds best nurse Stephen took amazing care of my dad. Very detail oriented, compassionate, empathetic and knowledgeable. Very grateful for their help. At. Michael’s hospital is very very very lucky to have such compassionate individuals working for them. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The worst medical doctor I have ever met in my entire life and I don’t think I will encounter someone like him in the future! Very impolite, he always accuses patients for complications of his procedures and it looks like he has the highest mortality and morbidity rate regarding his treatment plans (after I did check his online feedbacks). He doesn’t explain anything to the patient, and he really overrates himself! He treated my mother in a very unpleasant and unsafe way as she cannot clearly communicate in English but I always was with her for translation and quicker communication! As a law student, I am sure that his behavior his 100% medico-illegal and I hope I will have the opportunity to deal with him in court in the future because now I don’t have money yet to do it!

As I read this criminal feedback on different websites, I want to share my dad experience with him! He treated my dad as he is a chair in the office, didn’t listen to his complaint, just read the referral letter from the cardiologist and he started arranging for the ablation procedure without even asking for our opinion. Imagine that he called the lady who assist him for the procedures in order to do the paper work whereas we are not updated about anything and once I asked him about that inappropriate, unprofessional, unethical and illegal behavior, he left the office and kept us with that lady who started apologizing! I think the hospital hiring him should reconsider that!

Very bad attitude, impolite, doesn’t communicate with the patient, very low medical knowledge and most of his patients have had complications after procedures. Not to be recommended at all!

I had one of the worst experiences that a patient could ever imagine dealing with that racist/criminal immature guy who doesn’t deserve to be called a doctor! I shared my below experience with 2 of his patients whom I met outside his clinic and they confirm his bad attitude, low academic and teaching manners (either for his patients or the students working with him), and his RACIST behavior, even once of these patients told me that she heard him whispering “jeez those low class Mexican people” referring to her and her husband (Mexican immigrants), add that she has been treated in a wrong way as that RACIST guy changed thrice her pacemaker settings during 2 different visits and once the technician called Robert (high knowledge and professional guy) he was fully surprised and made some signs to that criminal that urgently the settings should be changed otherwise it could be life threatening)! I faced the same experience as this poor lady with some extras.. I heard him shouting on the Secretary on the floor helping him organizing his clinic and mistreating/abusing her and once he started examining me without asking any questions he put a huge pressure on my chest with his tense firm hands so I shouted loud then he disappeared from the device clinic and I heard him telling the technician “deal with that nagging lady behind the curtain” I decided then it should be my last visit there so I asked the poor technician and the Secreatry if my medications should be changed so they got back to me (after confirming with that CRIMINAL/RACIST guy) and no changes of the meds was done. A few days later, I had abdominal bleeding because of the anticoagulation prescribed by him (and he refused to change the dosage during that visit) and after being referred to another specialist I discovered that he was not treating me well and even his colleague has had bad opinions about him because of many patients been referred to him. I think that medico-ILLEGAL acts been happening to many patients and the authorities (medical and legal ones) should investigate and put limits to these behaviors as Toronto is number one multicultural city in the whole world and such criminals/racists should be in jail not treating patients! So please for the one reading this message, I beg you report that guy to help and protect patients lives!

Dr. Angaran provided sufficient information prior to a cardioversion procedure and did some follow up which was fine. The operation was successful. It is difficult to read him through the hospital phone system.

Dr. P. Andaran and his team performed a Cryo Ablation on Octorber 26,2021 at St. Mikes Hospital Toronto. Extremely professional care from the pre op to follow up. Dr. Andaran came to see in the evening to assure me that everything went well. I really appreciated the fact that he took the time to come and speak with me on a very personal level. Thanks to all the staff. Robert Giordano 5 Star

I was referred to Dr. Angaran by the Emergency doctor at St. Michaels hospital. During then first visit Dr. Angaran turned me over to another doctor who scanned my medical history and records and proceeded to prescribe medication without really hearing me out. At the end of the visit Dr. Angaran, came back, looked over the prescription and asked me about my preferences of treatment. Had I have not familiarize myself with different treatments I would have been at loss of what to say. Frankly, my first visit was very unimpressive, to say the least. Both doctors assured me that the medication prescribed would have almost no side affects. After a few days of being on the medication my symptoms worsened and side effects were debilitating. When Dr. Angaran changed the medication, my pharmacist insisted on talking to him, being concerned about the combination having an effect on the blood coagulation. In closing, I am leaning towards having a second opinion by another cardiologist at a different hospital. I would like to have someone who is willing to take time to listen to my concerns, it is my heart and health after all, and explain to me in in detail what the options are and what the way forward is. it is very difficult, when the prime source of information is internet. My faith is waning.

This doctor quickly scans information and does not fully understand individual situation. Makes sweeping statements that clearly are not factual. The Technician was far more knowledgeable.

This doctor has a poor bedside manner, due in part to his godlike complex and cockiness. Probably the hospital should consider another doctor explaining the ablation procedure and getting patients to sign the waiver than him.
