We all forget things as we age, but that doesn’t mean we have dementia. Dementia isn’t just one condition - it’s a term that refers to symptoms that cause a decline in mental ability that interferes with daily life. Alzheimer's is the most common type of dementia and accounts for 60 to 80 percent of cases. Vascular dementia is the second most common dementia type and occurs after a stroke. Memory loss that worsens over time can be another type of dementia.  Pour plus d'informations et les services locaux des psychiatres locaux à Montréal et à Québec PQ, contactez votre psychiatre local

This doctor has completely destroyed my sons life with his flipping of psychoactive meds to a ten year old. I'm seeking help from the college of medicine to get his grip of my son. Also I have been told by random people in the mental health industry. This seems to be a very common problem with him. Beware. I have him facts! And he dismissed everything to the point that I will be talking to the authorities. I don't care what it takes. My son is my life. Dr's. Don't ruin families. Now I need mental health agencies to step in and really help my child from the damage caused.

I have never dealt with a doctor who was so encouraging, so positive, and so knowledgeable. Extremely grateful that our child has him on our team of doctors now! He was patient, thorough, explained all the options for therapies and medications for her, she felt so comfortable to be completely open with him, and that’s a first!! Highly recommend Dr. Savenkov for anyone needing a paediatric psychiatrist for this child/teenager! It’s comforting to know her diagnosis is treatable and just having a proper diagnosis now is truly a blessing!

Dr Savenkov prescribed Biphentin to my grandson who was still four at the time for ADHA. His diagnosis was strictly based on the child’s mother’s opinion. My son who is no longer with the mother of the child and shares joint custody was not informed nor was anybody else who has close contact with my grandson. I feel my grandson is on meds that he may not need to be on. I have been informed that their is a proper protocol and steps to take before a decision should be made on weather or not a child needs to be on meds. In my opinion Dr Savenkov made a quick diagnosis and did not take the proper steps before putting him on something that I don’t take lightly....That is just horrible!
