He was involved in innovative research on facial paralysis at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital, one of the world’s most highly regarded hospitals. Dr. Brichacek is actively involved in the field of Plastic Surgery. He is the chair of the Young Plastic Surgeons Committee for the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a peer reviewer for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, as well as the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Brichacek returned to Winnipeg in 2020 and elected to dedicate his practice solely to Aesthetic Surgery.
