He embarked on his educational journey by earning a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Alberta. He then pursued his chiropractic studies at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, where he graduated in early 2013 as the class valedictorian. Concurrently, he obtained a Master's degree in Exercise and Sport Science, further enhancing his expertise in optimizing biomechanical performance. During his time in Portland, Dr. Jamieson actively engaged with the local sports community. He worked as part of the athletic training staff for local high schools and provided medical support for various sports events, including triathlons, volleyball, and rugby tournaments. These experiences allowed him to gain invaluable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the needs of athletes. Dr. Jamieson holds certifications in Active Release Technique (ART) and Graston Technique, which are specialized manual therapy techniques that can help address soft tissue injuries and promote healing. These certifications demonstrate his commitment to providing the most effective treatments for his patients. Sports have always been a significant part of Dr. Jamieson's life. Growing up, he actively participated in hockey, football, and rugby. This personal connection to sports fuels his passion for treating athletes and helping them achieve their optimal performance. In his leisure time, he continues to engage in various sports activities, such as snowboarding, hiking, and golfing. Currently, Dr. Jamieson serves as the team Chiropractor for the Edmonton Clansmen Rugby Club, where he provides expert care and support to the players.
