Dr Karim Ali | Chiropractor / Massage Therapist Dr. Ali is dually licensed manual medicine practitioner, holding accreditation from both the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Dr. Ali completed his doctorate at the prestigious New York Chiropractic College graduating Magna Cum Laude with specific concentration in treating Sports optimization and performance issues and chronic pain. He was selected to join the US Veteran Affairs department of chronic pain at the world-renown CW Bill Young Hospital in St. Petersburg Florida where he completed his clinical training. He was awarded the NYCC distinguished service citation for his continuous dedication to advancing chiropractic care within the community. After matriculating and successfully being credentialed to practice in both the United States and Canada, Dr. Ali went on to do post-graduate training at his alma mater – McMaster University, in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture (CMA). Being dually licensed allows Dr. Ali to use a variety of approaches and build innovative and effective treatment plans geared towards your individual goals. He uses a variety of manual medicine techniques including but not limited to: contemporary medical acupuncture, trigger point therapy, fascial release technique, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, cupping therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, chiropractic manipulation and dietary and nutraceutical supplementation. Dr. Ali believes in getting to the root cause of dysfunction and not just treating the symptoms.
