Dr. John Pedersen Bio

Born in Detroit, Michigan, 1964. Dr. John Pedersen has more than 18 years experience as a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Akron and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. John is widely published in peer-reviewed journals, covering many topics in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He has extensive experience in post-weight loss body contouring, mommy makeovers and abdominal procedures. He also specializes in breast revision surgeries, such as release capsular, implant malposition, contracture and exchange of older generation implants. Dr. Pedersen is this region’s innovator in direct to implant breast reconstruction using the Mentor memory-shaped implant both above and below the muscle. He is also the first and most experienced surgeon in Akron, Ohio when it comes to performing DIEP flap breast reconstruction. John was on the Board of Directors and the Chief of Plastic Surgery at a prominent hospital in Akron, OH for over 5 years. As such, he is committed to the long-term comprehensive care and complete satisfaction of all of his patients. Dr. Pedersen is also on staff as a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at Northeastern Ohio Medical University (NEOMED).

    Just awful. Doesn’t deserve one star. Do not use Dr. Pederson he will not back his work. Had a neck lift. It wasn’t even two years and it was sagging. Had to pay 100 dollar consultation for him to say for another 5k he can fix it. Really??? You should be ashamed of yourself. Do not go there!!!
