Dr. Jaritt Ptolemy Dr. Jaritt’s interest in sport and fitness lead him to pursue an Honours Kinesiology Degree at McMaster University (2005). Being a sprinter on the McMaster Track and Field team allowed him to experience and journey through multiple injury recoveries. What started as a frustration soon became his passion, which lead him to persue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College so he could help others recover faster and perform better. As a student at CMCC he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and worked part time as a personal trainer. He also went back to McMaster University part-time to become a Certified Medical Acupuncture Provider (Not offered in BC). Within his first few years of clinical practice Dr. Jaritt was a team therapist on two national level teams with the women’s National Soccer team and the Canada Rugby League. Dr. Jaritt also had the privilege of working with one of Canada’s foremost fitness experts and educators, Kevin Darby, where he educated personal trainers and coaches across Canada on client assessment and program design. GoodLife Fitness recognized Dr. Jaritt as Practitioner of the Year on multiple occasions for his outstanding work in the health and fitness industry. With his clinical and coaching experience Dr. Jaritt has developed a unique approach to treatment and rehabilitation in order to better close the gap between pain and function that expands beyond the treatment room. Whether it’s in a one on one clinical setting or in small group coaching setting, Dr. Jaritt has multiple options for helping those ready to move better and more often. Dr. Jaritt’s treatment plans are derived from a thorough assessment and utilize multiple treatment techniques to facilitate healing and movement in order to reduce pain and restore function.
