We all forget things as we age, but that doesn’t mean we have dementia. Dementia isn’t just one condition - it’s a term that refers to symptoms that cause a decline in mental ability that interferes with daily life. Alzheimer's is the most common type of dementia and accounts for 60 to 80 percent of cases. Vascular dementia is the second most common dementia type and occurs after a stroke. Memory loss that worsens over time can be another type of dementia.  Pour plus d'informations et les services locaux des psychiatres locaux à Montréal et à Québec PQ, contactez votre psychiatre local

Very unprofessional. My family doctor put my daughter on Zoloft for depression and anxiety. She told us that my daughter could not just stop this medication cold turkey and would have to be taken off it slowly. Unfortunately she was referred to Dr. Wynd who decided she didn't need the medication because it was making her tired. I asked if it was okay to suddenly stop the medication. Her response was to me was " If a medication is giving your child side effects you shouldn't need a doctor to tell you to take her off of it" First off very rude, Second I'm no doctor but even I know that stopping some medications suddenly can cause withdrawal which can in some cases be dangerous. I don't believe this women should be practicing anymore.

Dr. Wynd refused to prescribe medication to my daughter, nor did she refer us to services that could help her. My daughter suffered for two years and Dr.Wynd did nothing but make unprofessional comment and discredit our paediatrician. It was disgusting. We saw her twice and each time her assessments of my child were inaccurate and information was missing. She dismissed us like there was no problem with my daughter who turned out to be skitzophrenic.
