Your eyes have clear liquid that flows in and out, but if you have glaucoma, this liquid doesn’t drain properly, causing this buildup of IOP pressure. Glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve, which is made up of nerve fibers and transmits images from the eye to your brain. If you have a condition known as ocular hypertension, which is a result of high ocular pressure, your risk of developing glaucoma increases.Your optometrist or ophthalmologist may want to lower your IOP as a preventative measure.

Our eye works a lot like a camera. In order for us to see clearly, the Cornea has light has to be focused by a lens. We are all born with a lens inside our eye that does this job for us and in early life it is crystal clear. As we age, this lens can become cloudy and begin to block light or create blur. We call this change in the lens a “cataract”.

Fortunately, cataracts are treatable through surgery. During cataract surgery, the clouded lens is removed and replaced with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL). This procedure is highly successful in restoring clear vision for most people, allowing them to see more clearly and improve their quality of life.

Dr Morrow saved eyesight in left eye as he got me into st michaels for detached retina surgery. Scarborough general opthalmology doctor misdiagnosed me earlier. If not for Dr Morrow, I would be blind in left eye. He is relentless in solving eye problems. Very professional. Secretary is excellent also

Constant cancelling (N=3) of cataract surgery after doing eye surgery on only eye. Greater than 6 months delay since the first surgery, but no problem repeating (3) extensive eye exams for 2nd eye (was considered my best eye). Others have had bilateral cataract surgery within 2-3 month interval from other opthalmologists. What's the problem here??? Has anyone else had this experience??.

Dr. Morrow is an exceptional surgeon. I went from my left eye deteriorating to the point of being legally blind to excellent vision after cataract surgery! I am elated with the outcome and now look very much forward to having the other eye operated on! His team in the office are also very knowledgeable and informative. I can't thank Dr. Morrow enough for my enhanced quality of life!

Both Dr. Morrow & staff were courteous & professional. I had 2 separate successful catarct surgeries & years later had an in-office laser capsulotomy. After the laser procedure I had immediate improvement of my vision. I am once again able to read music & books which provide quality to my life.Thank you Dr. Morrow.

Very rude person. My mother left humiliated by him because he didn't understand her but they refused to have me there (or over the phone) as an interpreter. This is unacceptable. We will file a complaint with CPSO.

Rude to his patients and disrespectful. Not considering that they might be fearful of procedures or have some questions of their own. He might be very good at what he does but he lucks in social skills. However, his stuff is very nice.

I have been a patient of Dr Morrow's for 14 years running, no complaint's here. Duration time for expected visit is at the front desk, specifying it will take a few hours per visit to conclude, so no hidden surprises. Staff has always been amazing in my opinion. Rainbow and Kim presently do a magnificent job, in keeping thing's up and running in a very patient active environment. Dr Morrow himself has performed CXL on my Right eye, he has nerves of steel. I was awake it's entirety and his hand never trembled once. I suffer with Glaucoma. Ocular surface disease, Keratoconus, Dry eyes, among a few others, all ultimately causing me blurred vision, with Dr Morrow's help and thinking of what to do next, for the first time in 30 years, this year, I was diagnosed to be a recipient for PROSTHETIC DEVICES for both my eyes, After 30 years of poor vision I am finally able to wear something in my eye comfortably with greatly improved vision and I have to say thank you kindly to Dr Morrow and his knowledge for eye care. Summary:- Pro-efficient specialist who actually cares about his patient's eye care condition and he does a thorough diagnostic when you are actually in the examination room with him. Thanks to all @ Toronto Eye Centre.
