Dr. Elizabeth Hein, DC completed her studies at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon receiving her Doctorate in Chiropractic and Bachelors degree in Human Biology. Since graduating and joining the Back to Back family, Dr. Liz has honed her skills with treating sports related injuries, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. Dr. Liz has a particular interest in treating extremity injuries (shoulder, knees, ankles), as she finds these can be the most difficult injuries to overcome. Dr. Liz takes a progressive approach to pain and injury through evidence-based practice with incorporating soft tissue therapy and exercise rehabilitation programs to her care. She uses a variety of techniques depending on what her patients need, such as instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, cupping, taping, shockwave therapy, and Venus Heal therapy. She takes pride in treating all sorts of patients, ranging from high level athletes, to weekend warriors and families. When not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Liz hiking with her dog, Poppy, surfing in Tofino, or taking road trips over the long weekend.
