It's crucial to continue receiving vaccinations throughout life to protect against infectious diseases that haven't been eradicated and to maintain immunity against those for which immunity wanes over time.

The emergence of antibiotic resistance has indeed made the treatment of certain infections more challenging. Vaccination plays a critical role in preventing infections in the first place, reducing the need for antibiotics and helping to curb the development of antibiotic resistance.

Some vaccines, like the tetanus vaccine, require booster shots because the immunity they provide gradually decreases over time. By staying up to date with such vaccinations, adults can ensure they maintain optimal protection against preventable diseases.

Moreover, adult immunization has broader benefits beyond personal protection. By getting vaccinated, healthy adults contribute to the concept of herd immunity. This means that when a significant portion of the population is immune to a disease, it creates a protective barrier that helps prevent its spread and protects those who are most vulnerable, such as young children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems.

It's important to have open and regular discussions about immunization with primary healthcare providers. They can provide guidance on the appropriate vaccines and schedules based on individual health status, age, occupation, travel plans, and other relevant factors. By staying proactive and getting vaccinated as adults, we can collectively reduce the burden of infectious diseases and help protect ourselves and others.

I felt like I was treated like an animal. She was rude and unkind. I went to the hospital for a personal issue and she kept trying to tell me about my diabetes. Completely off of why I was there! I do plan on taking my complaint further.

Dr. Dorey did not want to listen to my symptoms or concerns. She did send me for an X-ray and did a blood test but told nothing about the results. She gave me a diagnosis that didn’t make sense and sent me on my way with a prescription. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated. I understand that doctors are busy but a little bit of caring and compassion would go a long way.

She should not have a medical licence. Does not listen to family history or patients history. Condescending, rude, implied I had an addiction problem when asked for a prescription. She was the worst doctor I have ever had in my entire life

Dr. Dorey has been the worst healthcare provider I ever dealt with. She suspects I have something. But would not answer any of my concerns. I left completely shocked. She just cared about moving on to the next patient. What she suggests I have is something you want answers. Not I can't answer that. She is ignorant unimpathetic and should not be in the medical field. I will never ever let her near me or any of my family. Just horrible.

Dr. Dorey did not look at my history and told me things I knew to be untrue. She prescribed a singularly inappropriate medication and she seems intent upon making people suffer as much as possible.

Very poor "bedside manner" Did not explain anything to me about my situation. I even had to ask her if she was going to do anything. My foot was at least twice the size it should have been and all she said is it didn't need an xray. I told her Iknew I didn't need an xray but need something to help with my situation. Very unpleasant

The absolute worst DR I have ever met. She was rude and has ZERO bedside manner. Went to see her 2X at the after hour clinic, first time she prescribed an antibiotic after we mentioned my child may have impetigo.. wouldn't give an answer as to what she thought it was. Had to go back a second time as the rash got worse. As my child hates the Dr office, she was crying having a meltdown. DR Dorey rudely instructed me to take my child out of the room to calm her down. I have never felt more judged and disrespected in a Dr's office than I did with this woman.

No. She is very rude and obnoxious. Ive seen her twice and she was so mean! I have a breast tumor and she said to me 'its not your entire breast so you can wait 6 months for your next appointment' and blamed me for my child's chin being infected after she had a fall on the floor. And tried to blame me. Also told me you are supposed to take your kids to their family doctor after a e.r visit and ive NEVER heard that one before. Shes so mean and the nurse even said my childs chin wasnt even infected and she also demanded my child to stop crying and she was pinned down to a bed scared.
