Dr. David A.F. Ellis is a Professor at the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Toronto, Ontario

Dr. Ellis, M.D., FRCSC, F.A.C.S. graduated from The University of Toronto Medical School in 1966 and completed his Fellowship Residency Training in Otolaryngology at the University of Toronto. Immediately following this residency, Dr. Ellis took a post-residency fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Ellis opened his initial practice in Toronto in 1973, which consisted of private practice as well as being associated with the teaching of Facial Plastic surgery at The University of Toronto.
Dr. Ellis is Past President of the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, Past Canadian Vice President of The American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and the Past President and Secretary of The Canadian Society of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.

Dr. Ellis specializes in Plastic, Cosmetic, and Reconstructive Surgery of the face, head, and neck.

Reconstructive surgery for skin malignancies, facial paralysis, and trauma are also an integral part of his practice.
