Dr Shulze called a family meeting for my 80 year old father in ICU. My father is very with it mentally ( a better memory than me! And very quick witted) and was ignored completely. Dr. shultzes bedside manner was as cold as ice. He did not give us options but rather told us he recommends the next time my father comes to ER they give him morphine rather that oxygen . I asked if my father did not have the right to be saved as he has in the past . This seemed to irritate the Dr. And he said my dad can not handle heart surgery so should just be given morphine so he would pass away with no pain . It was a shocking and heartless suggestion.
