Dr. Ford is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Calgary.
He attended medical school at the University of British Columbia and performed a residency in ophthalmology at Dalhousie University. He subsequently underwent fellowship training in Glaucoma with Dr. Bruce Shields at Yale University in Connecticut. He is actively involved in clinical residency training and is currently President of the Canadian Glaucoma Society.

Your eyes have clear liquid that flows in and out, but if you have glaucoma, this liquid doesn’t drain properly, causing this buildup of IOP pressure.
