Dr. Anthony Magliocco Bio

​ Dr. Tony Magliocco finished his undergraduate studies at McMaster University in Hamilton in 1992, receiving his B.Sc. in Biology. Upon graduating he went on to study chiropractic at the National College Of Chiropractic. While there he received numerous scholarships and rewards finishing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with summa cum laude designation in 1995. Dr. Magliocco constantly strives to improve his knowledge in the fields of chiropractic, acupuncture and rehab sciences. Dr. Magliocco has a special interest in acupuncture being part of the faculty of the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Course at McMaster University. He has been a senior instructor for more than 13 years teaching other health professionals a modern approach to acupuncture. Certifications (Past/Present): Acupuncture Council of Ontario Canadian Contemporary Acupuncture Association ART Cox Flexion/Distraction Technique Physiological Therapeutics by National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in the US. Over the years Dr. Magliocco has worked with and helped numerous associations, teams and athletes in the area, some examples are: Elite long-distance runners that have participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics Hamilton Ticats CFL Team McMaster University Football Team Hamilton Round the Bay Road Race Ancaster Soccer Club ​ Dr. Magliocco’s clinical evaluation begins with a functional, structural, neuromusculoskeletal and orthopaedic assessment. After his assessment, a treatment plan is put in place that both he and more importantly the patient feel comfortable with. Treatment can consist of chiropractic manipulation of the spine and extremities and/or acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, myofascial release along with strengthening exercises. He has spent more than 23 years refining his skills in chiropractic, acupuncture, exercise and rehabilitation all in the city of Hamilton. He currently practices out of our state of the art health and wellness center located in the west end of Hamilton near McMaster University. Dr. Tony is an active member of his community, participating and donating to many charitable organizations. He enjoys giving talks/seminars to organizations and actively coaches an elite teenage girls soccer team. He lives in Ancaster with his wife and two children. Aim Physio & Wellness Clinic also offers a full-time Run and Gait Analysis, Custom Orthotic Fitting, Physiotherapy, Registered and Massage Therapy.
