  I'm 12 months pregnant, as I don't have a family doctor, I had to walk-in to Hilltop Medical Clinic and got Dr Alexander Lockhart at 11:10am Dec 6, 2021 to get a simple requisition for prenatal panel bloodwork and dating ultrasound, he asked me a few questions like when is your last menstral period, is this your first pregnancy? He's old and has hearing problem but not wearing hearing-aid, my husband repeated my answers in a louder voice to him, we told him we need dating ultrasound and prenatal panel bloodwork, After sitting in his office for 5 minutes, he gave us 2 requisitions and showed us the door. After checking the requisition, we noticed that he checked NO for the "Are you Pregnant" question on both regs, he also didn't put prenatal panel bloodwork on it. We had to ask him very nicely to fix it. Then we took off and went to Lifelabs for my 2:55 blood test appointment, staff at LifeLabs noticed that he messed up with my first name and last name, also he didn't provide the detailed form listing what he wants me to test for prenatal panel bloodwork, he also didn't provide the form for "Triple Screen" which Lifelab needs more detail on it. I also asked him if I need to fast, he said yes, so I didn't eat or drink since 9pm the day before. We had to go back to the clinic in big snow to have the doctor provide these forms, He didn't bother to show up, only asked the front desk to dump me the stupid reason: "we are walk-in clinic, we don't provide these forms." Which is abslutely wrong, especially after we went back to Lifelabs again and went to see another doctor, they said there's no such thing, a doctor should know and provide these forms, it's a very common test. Dr. Lockhart also didn't provide clear notes on where the lab results should be sent to. My other doctor fixed it. The Receptionists keep saying it's not their problem and try to push me to sign up for their family doctor service. Due to his incompetent and neglegance, I couldn't perform my 2:55 appinment and had to reschedule, we live pretty far away, we were hoping to get everything done within 1 day. We wasted so much time trying to make him understand, fixing his errors and make multiple trips between Lifelabs and the clinic in the snow on empty stomach. It's honestly sad that our system allow people like Dr. Lockhart to treat patients.
