Your eyes have clear liquid that flows in and out, but if you have glaucoma, this liquid doesn’t drain properly, causing this buildup of IOP pressure. Glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve, which is made up of nerve fibers and transmits images from the eye to your brain. If you have a condition known as ocular hypertension, which is a result of high ocular pressure, your risk of developing glaucoma increases.Your optometrist or ophthalmologist may want to lower your IOP as a preventative measure.

Our eye works a lot like a camera. In order for us to see clearly, the Cornea has light has to be focused by a lens. We are all born with a lens inside our eye that does this job for us and in early life it is crystal clear. As we age, this lens can become cloudy and begin to block light or create blur. We call this change in the lens a “cataract”.

Fortunately, cataracts are treatable through surgery. During cataract surgery, the clouded lens is removed and replaced with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL). This procedure is highly successful in restoring clear vision for most people, allowing them to see more clearly and improve their quality of life.

I trusted Dr. Seth for my cataract surgery and had laser surgery for removing scar tissue. He answered all my questions and felt I was really looked after by the whole staff.

Dr. Seth was very competent and my eye surgery was exactly as he explained. He was very clear and precise. He was also very efficient and practical. He managed to talk at a fast pace but made sure I was understanding him and allowed me to ask questions. He was a bit intolerant when I asked a question which I assume he thought was stupid, but it was obvious he was trying not to be rude, so I bit my tongue. I would go back to him.

Dr seth has to be the worst dr I’ve ever had. The cataract surgery that was to be an improvement failed. My eyesight is worse than before the surgery & he was arrogant, opinionated, abusive & downright rude. Thank got I refused to get the second eye done or my eyesight would be unbearable. I cannot clearly see from the eye he did the surgery on. I would not trust him & refused to get my other eye done

Dr Seth was arrogant and rude. He is not the only doctor I can go to. And I chose any other than him.
