Dr. Godley is a practicing physician and founder of Vigilance Solutions, False Creek Surgical Centre, and the Urgent Care Centre at False Creek in Vancouver, BC, and Maples Surgical Centre in Winnipeg, MB. He is a practicing anesthesiologist in British Columbia and Manitoba.

Dr. Godley is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, an elected member of the British Columbia Medical Association (BCMA), and a member of the Audit and Finance committee and the Medical Professionalism committee for the BCMA. He is a vocal champion of patients' rights and has done extensive research on CCSVI and multiple sclerosis using advanced MRI equipment at False Creek Surgical Centre.
