Video Title: What Exercise Can you do when you are Pregnant
Duration: 1 minute, 1 second
If you've had a healthy pregnancy, there's a lot of exercises and activities that you can feel safe to engage in, pretty much all the way through.
For example, yoga is quite popular, walking is excellent, people like things like going to the gym, lifting weights, using a treadmill, a stationary bike is fine.
A lot of people like pool-based exercises because it's nice, it supports you, it's good on your back, and often it's quite cool as well too which feels nice in the last part of your pregnancy.
There's a lot of actual weight-bearing sports that are actually fine during your pregnancy, although sometimes people slow down with them at the end because it starts to hurt their back or their hips or their joints.
Examples of that would be running, tennis, even skiing, although you'd have to be a pretty good skier. And the reason for that is just the mechanical movement of your body joints will eventually tell you 'look it's time to stop, we've got to slow down.' And then people switch to another activity.
