Cyberbullying is bullying that is done via computers and cell phones.

And it's usually a continuation of what has alreday started somewhere else, so it could be a bully at school decides to bully that same child on Facebook at night.

Bullying is the same across the board, it doesn't matter if its verbal, emotional or physical. It still has the exact same impact - it's very very painful and those scars can last for a whole lifetime.

The difference with cyberbullying i just would like to mention here: it can be more cruel than any other type of bullying, because kids are home along and they don't have the time to think; they just type before they think. So it can actually be more cruel than any other type of bullying.

And if you're really concerned that your children are being bulled by their phone or computer, just get them off Facebook, get them off Twitter. And that's it, that kind of ends the whole thing. They can't be bullied if they're not even on those social media sites.

If a child is being bullied, cyberbullied, they should always tell an adult, because oftentimes children don't talk, and that's when it gets worse and worse.

So they tell an adult, and if it's something really horrible, and they fear for their safety, they should call the police, get the police involved, don't even hesitate to do that, that's what they're there for.
