Cyclist palsy describes a condition where there's inflammation of the ulnar nerve, which is a nerve that travels through the arm and into the hand and provides both feeling and motion of the hand.

This condition generally presents with numbness and tingling in the fourth and fifth digit of the hand, as well as occasional pain in the forearm. However, if left untreated it can go on to muscle wasting in the hand and loss of grip strength.
