Prevention is really important when it comes to falls.

What we do know is that as we age there are changes in strength and balance, and to counteract that, speaking to your physician, physio or exercise specialist can help you focus in on improving your strength of muscles, your balance, your writing abilities.

Secondly, it's important to look at medications and to really focus in on sedative medications, which make patients groggy and not very alert.

The very best way to ensure you're independent for many more years to come is to enable your team members to help you whether it be your physician, your pharmacist, occupational therapist, physiotherapists, as well as specialists.

It's important if you have any questions or any concerns that you make an appointment to speak to your physician or your local expert, so once again make an appointment and speak to your physician.
