What are the Treatment Options For Low Testosterone
Duration: 1 minute, 23 seconds

So if a man has erectile dysfunction or low testosterone there are specific therapies available.

If your testosterone level is low, there are testosterone preparations that you can take to restore your levels. If you have erectile dysfunction there are specific therapies for that.

Now again, there’s a little overlap in terms of erectile function with pure erectile dysfunction, or ED, and low testosterone, but if a man with erectile dysfunction does not have a low testosterone, testosterone supplementation won’t help the erections.

That individual has to go and take specific erectile dysfunction therapy. Specific erectile dysfunction therapies include oral therapies, which are very effective and very convenient and there’s a number of them available on the market with some differences.

Some last longer than others, some have different absorption, some of them don’t work, for example, as well if you take them with a full stomach, and some are perhaps a little more likely to cause some of the potential side effects such as headache or muscle aches that can occur.

So, talk to your healthcare provider to find which agent fits best with your particular situation and lifestyle.
