Dermal fillers are a group of medical devices which are injectable agents that are put into the skin to restore contour and volume loss.
Dermal fillers are either made of collagen products, hyaluronic acid products or a combination of other ingredients. These are injected into the skin, and commonly for cosmetic purposes are helpful in reducing lines and wrinkles, so often used in the nasolabial folds regions to restore volume in the cheeks.
In HIV positive individuals who are on medication, a lot of fat can be lost in the face and by using these fillers we can actually restore the volume to the face and give a much more healthy appearance.
If you think you're an individual who would benefit from these types dermal fillers, then you should seek out a qualified individual who is well skilled in injecting these substances.
