The method that the pump can offer to help patients simplify their bolus calculations or their correction boluses is by offering a program where patients can enter their carbohydrate intake and their blood glucose at that time.

And what the pump does is based on the settings that were set by the patient and their diabetes clinical care team, it will suggest a given amount of insulin to be delivered for that amount of food or for that blood glucose level.

This function can help patients avoid calculation errors and give them more precise boluses when they're eating or correcting their blood glucose level.

If you have any further questions, patients should seek advice from their pump trainer or their diabetes clinical care team.
