Wellness pharmacists are competent, self-motivated and life-long learners. They are trained to conduct comprehensive medication reviews, manage our patients’ medications, and make recommendations for changes as necessary. In order to provide our services in a safe and effective manner, it is critical to have good communication with patients, family members, and care providers. Our nurses, pharmacy assistants, and pharmacists have extensive experience taking care of patients who require additional attention due to their high risk for medication errors and non-adherence. They are also well-educated in the management of concerns relating to specific populations such as transplant patients, dialysis patients, patients struggling with mental health and addiction concerns, diabetes, asthma, and high blood pressure. We speak your language In addition to their strong communication skills, our pharmacists, nurses, assistants, and technicians are multilingual, thus enabling them to easily converse with our diverse patient population, as well as provide prescription labels in multiple languages. By providing counseling in a patient’s native tongue, we are able to enhance their understanding of their medications, thereby improving compliance. Languages spoken include: English, Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Farsi, Hindi, Punjabi, and Tagalog.
