General Information
Season 2009-2010
All registration forms must be signed and dated. It is recommended that registration be completed in person in the office of The School. Signed FAXed copies are accepted. Payments are accepted in cash, by cheque made out to The School of Dance , or by VISA once a signed copy of the registration form is received by the office. The School does not accept registration by telephone without a signed registration form.
2009-2010 Season: Monday, September 14, 2009 to Saturday, June 5, 2010. Term 2 begins Monday January 4, 2010.
The dates for the short courses are listed on the individual registration forms.
The School hosts two week-long Open Houses in December and June of each year.
Please contact The School of Dance to confirm dates and times.
Attendance logs are kept by the office and by the teachers. In the case of illness or absence, The School requests that a responsible person call into the office to leave a message. Students arriving late for class may be asked to observe the class if the teacher decides that late entry is unsafe.
Students are welcome to make-up a missed class within the registration period; missed classes can not be transferred without registration.
Adult students wishing to drop-in for a class are most welcome to do so provided there is space in the class. It is the responsibility of the student to confirm with the office that the class is running as scheduled.
Dress code sheets are available in the main office.
Conditions of Enrolment
There is a $20 registration fee payable on the initial registration in each school year.
There are no refunds except in the case of cancellation.
All registration forms must be signed and dated in order to be eligible to take part in classes.
Fees are due in full at time of registration.
Family discount must be mentioned when registering.
Second/third class discount of 20% is available on some classes. Discounts can not be accumulated. Discounts are applied on the lesser of the amounts. Please check with The School.
Cheques returned from the bank for any reason are subject to a $50 administration charge.
The School reserves the right to ask disruptive individuals to leave the premises and/or not to serve a customer.
The School of Dance is not responsible for students before and after class.
The School of Dance has a Personal Information Policy in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. A complete copy of the policy is available in the main office of The School.
