The Fitness Edge
First and foremost, we are not a gym! We are a private personal training and Pilates studio. The Fitness Edge will provide you with a highly personal approach to fitness. In the privacy of our studio you will receive expert guidance in the development and implementation of a fitness program specifically designed to meet your goals. Our business is based on years of experience. We do not sell unrealistic images and we do not make claims that cannot be substantiated; our programs work. For that reason we have brought together a large selection of programs which will please our clients including Pilates.

The Fitness Edge is a 1500 square foot air conditioned fitness facility in downtown Ottawa featuring two studios: one 500 square foot studio for private/semi private, and small group training, and a 1000 sq. ft. room for larger mat classes.
In addition, we offer showers, change room facilities and parking.

Private Personal training in our fully equipped studio for weight loss, weight gain, strength, injury prevention, general health and specific conditioning. Privates are booked by appointments only and are always performed one-on-one. For best results, clients are required to sign a one month, 3 month, 6 month  contract with their trainer and commit to appointments 2-3 times per week.


Pilates training for general health, injury prevention, rehabilitation and back care. Clients can  choose from a wide range of Pilates activities that suit individual budgets including a selection of private, semi-private or group instruction on mat, Reformer, Cadillac and Barrels. Our staff are certified in STOTT PILATES®. For best results, clients register for a three month program, participating in Pilates sessions 2-3 times per week.
