Body Sculpt
This class is designed for toning and strengthening using free weights, body bars, steps, resistance tubing or simply body weight (i.e. push-ups). Resistance training will include, strength, endurance and resistance.
Spinning
Indoor Cycling classes offer high energy stationary bike workouts that enhance cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. Participants select personal intensity levels during the workout through body position and bike tension.
Cardio Circuit
This class focuses on a challenging intense cardio workout. Hi impact, plyometrics, pump, power options are all utilized along with resistance training.
Pilates
Pilates is call Contrology as well, because the class uses the mind to control the muscles. The program focuses on the core postural muscles which helps keep the body balanced and which are essential to providing support for the spine. In particular, Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and aim to strengthen the deep torso muscles.
Boot Camp
Advanced class that provides variety and intensity but not a lot of combinations. The focus of this class is to improve muscular endurance, muscular strength and cardiovascular fitness.
Step & Ball
This class is designed to introduce and utilize the movements involved in step that is a cardio workout and has many levels, as well as utilizes the stability ball to promote abdominal and total back strength while improving balance and posture.
Circuits
Circuit training is a program in which you move immediately from an exercise for one muscle group to an exercise for a different muscle group until all major muscle groups have been worked. The circuit of activities can include free weights, exercise tubing, and cardiorespiratory equipment. Moving immediately from one activity to the next allows you to work the cardiorespiratory system as well as the muscular system.
Legs and Core
This class focuses on strengthening the legs, developing stability around the hips and spine, improving balance and efficiency with the foot and ankle, and increasing flexibility and proper functioning throughout the lower body.
Core Conditioning
Core strengthening is strengthening not only the muscles of the abdominal and back regions, but also working on improving your balance and proprioceptor systems. Working on all of these systems, you can have better posture as well as reduce the frequency and severity of neck and back symptoms.
Zumba
Combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow Zumba participants to dance away their worries.
