The midwives of Midwifery Care in Mississauga Ontario provide care for women throughout normal pregnancy, labour and birth and for both women and their babies for 6 weeks postpartum following the birth.  During the prenatal times you will be acompanied by a midwife in the office weekly.  During your prenatal visits you will have a chance to discuss birth plans, ask any questions, and get as much information as needed.  You midwife will be accompanied by another midwife during the labour and birth of your child.  They will be there imediatly after during postpartum to assess the newborn and yourself.  Following the birth your midwife will be available to you up to 6 weeks postpartum to offer emotional support, breastfeeding support, infant care and so much more.
