HealthChoicesFirst.com Announces Appointment of Dr. Jean-François Roux to Medical Board

June 9, 2014 (QUEBEC) Dr. Jean-François Roux has joined the Medical Board of HealthChoicesFirst.com, a growing video-based, Canada-wide directory of healthcare providers. Dr. Jean-François Roux is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Sherbrooke in Quebec. He is an associate professor of medicine at the University of Sherbrooke and an assistant professor of medicine at McGill University.

After completing his cardiology training at the University of Sherbrooke in 2005, Dr. Roux pursued cardiac electrophysiology training at the Montreal Heart Institute, followed by an advanced cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. 
His main clinical and research interests are related to the treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. Dr. Roux is also the director of the cardiac electrophysiology fellowship program at the University of Sherbrooke.
