The traditional pushup is a great exercise that you can do anytime, anywhere.

So I’m going to get Vendela down on hands and knees. What she’s going to do is start doing this on her knees. And when you’re doing a pushup you want to make sure that you don’t sag your lower back. So you want to keep everything tucked underneath.

So let’s go a little wider in your grip there, yeah. Okay, now we’re going to lower it down, keeping the body nice and flat. Okay, now I want you to bring your hips down more.

So you want to keep your body – oh, okay.  See how your bum’s in the air? I want you to tuck your hips underneath and now go down, so keeping your body in a flat position. Even more; tuck your hips straight down. There!

If this exercise is too easy for you on your knees, go ahead and lift your knees up off the mat. Okay, same position; keep your body nice and strong and straight. Okay, let’s lower down. And push back up.

Now the key to this again: don’t let your lower back sag too much. Keep your abdominals tucked in, come down nice and low in the chest if you can. Good! A few more. And rest.

Now remember, if you want to attain a body like this, hire a qualified personal trainer and they’ll help you reach your goals.
