Dr. Heller has been treating me for almost 20 years. Just last February, he replaced my left knee. Three years earlier, he replaced my right knee. I have a very complicated medical history that has included, over the years, three heart procedures and a brain hemorrhage. Dr. Heller has a dedicated team of specialists that always have made my personal health and safety paramount in every decision that he has helped me make about the direction of my treatment. We began, many years ago, with very minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to repair a minor meniscal tear. I now am able to walk without walking aids, using only my walking stick for long walking hikes. At 73, it is important for me to stay active and walking, including climbing stairs, is part of both my weekly and daily routines. Seldom do I take an elevator when stairs are an option. With three types of arthritis, pain management is always been in the forefront. of my overall well being. By no means has he made my knees pain free but the pain is certainly manageable, often very slight and definitely head and shoulders above the driving pain that crippled me before my knee replacements. I have heartily recommended him to both family and friends.
